It is hard to understand this grammar part.

it is illogical to compare an attention span to students, the words that of are needed

The word whom must be included because who we can count on is not grammatically correct.

5 The visitors were glad to see that Yellowstone National Park was recovering from the devastating forest fire.

Without the word that, the sentence is easily misread. Readers might at first think that the visitors were glad to see the park when in fact they were glad to see the park's recovery.

I took this quiz. I just thought that ‘be + P.P’ is passive and the other is active. There is another option in there, so this is why I write this blog.

Experience teaches hard lessons. I choose first one. The subject, Hard lessons, names the receiver of the action. The actor appears in the phrase by experience.

The interviewer acknowledged Marta's participation in the literacy program.

The subject, The interviewer, names the actor.

Dean Swanson ordered the new database system without consulting the faculty members who would be using it.

This sentence is in the active voice. The subject, Dean Swanson, names the actor.

It can assume that the sentences in this exercise work better in the active voice.

When I solved this problem, I could not figure out it. simple, compound, complex, or compound-complex. It is hard to distinguish compound, complex, and compound-complex. First of all, I had to definite about this usage.

I took 40-2 test. It was Abbreviations part. 1 Julius Caesar was born in 100 BC.

I looked "The abbreviation AD precedes the date," and "The abbreviation BC should follow the date." I saw may time this pattern, but it is not familiar with me. Just AD( Anno Domini )is before, so its position is located before date?, also BC(Before Christ) follow date? It is just regulation?

The word page should be spelled out. It also I didn't know it. I think that it is just form of writing, but I'm not sure.

I am familiar with this part. When I studied this part, first I found verb and subject. Furthermore, It is base type to study English. However, tell the truth I hesitated to check it. I think I have to study exactly.

Article part is the weakest point in my grammar. Especially, 'a', 'the' are confusing all the time. When I solve those questions, sometime I guess them. Frankly speaking, I do not know how can I solve them. When I asked to my teacher who is Josh, there is no method. He said, "you have to be custom with them."
